Phoenix Rod & Custom is a family-owned business that first opened its doors in 1999. It has been operated by Glenn Smith and managed by his son Craig Smith. Prior to opening Phoenix, Glenn has over 25 years of restoration experience, having worked and managed at several major restoration shops in northern New Jersey. He has the experience and knowledge of completing various restorations on all makes and models that have gone on to win many awards on both local and national levels. His son Craig also has 22 years of experience, having learned much of his trade from his father. He specializes in sheet metal and auto body repair, as well as paint and auto refinishing. Craig is also a Combat Veteran having served in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Military Police Sergeant.

In addition, Phoenix also has a team of employees that specialize in all stages of detailed bodywork, paint work, mechanical, electrical, and various stages of restoration. Our certified mechanic can replace, repair, and upgrade suspensions / chassis, engine swaps, performance / stock engines, transmissions, fuel systems, exhaust systems, brake systems, steering, and electrical systems.
